Today we released Spectra v2.19.23, an update to the Spectra Gutenberg blocks plugin.
This release brings a guided onboarding wizard for new users, an interactive Learn tab right inside the Spectra dashboard, and an important security fix.
What’s new?
1. Onboarding wizard
New users are now greeted with a step-by-step setup wizard that walks through the essentials — so you can start building with Spectra blocks right away, without hunting through settings.
2. Learn tab in the dashboard
A new Learn section is now available inside the Spectra dashboard with interactive walkthroughs. These guide you through real editor actions — like adding blocks, adjusting styles, and using the design library — so you can get comfortable with Spectra at your own pace.

This brings two important image gallery fixes, as well as a major upgrade to our opt-in product analytics, providing richer insights while keeping your privacy choices fully intact.
What we’re most excited about is how this analytics upgrade helps us understand exactly how you use Spectra — so the blocks and features you rely on every day keep working better for you.
How does this benefit you?
1. Your most-used blocks get prioritized, not guessed
If data shows that thousands of Spectra sites rely on the Container block’s grid layout every single day, we know to invest development time there — not into features nobody actually reaches for. This means updates that actually matter to your workflow land more consistently.
2. Bugs get caught in the exact scenarios that affect you
If usage data shows that 80% of Spectra sites combine the Image Gallery block with the Container block, we test that combination first. That means fewer bugs slipping through to your live site, because we’re testing what’s real — not what we assume.
This is fully opt-in. No personal data is ever collected — just anonymous signals like “Container block is used on 12 pages” or “File generation is enabled.” You’re always in control.
